BSNL SMS based Complaint Booking and Bill enquiry services for Landline and Broadband customers

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) started new SMS based services for Landline and Broadband connection customers to book complaint through sending SMS from mobile device.

BSNL enables fixed connection subscribers to register Broadband grievance, Landline grievance by simple sending SMS from registered mobile number to faults using syntax to send SMS to short code 53334.

The details as given below:
  • For Broadband fault booking: BFT(space)(Telephone number prefix STD code) eg.BFT 020-27373859
  • For Landline fault booking: FLT(space)(Telephone number prefix STD code) eg.FLT 020-27373859
In addition BSNL customers can enquiry bill of their fixed connection in the format:
  • BILL(space)(Telephone number prefix STD code)(space)(BILLING A/C No) eg. BILL 020-27373859 1010203045

Short / Long Code for customer having BSNL mobile:
  • SMS services are available from BSNL mobile numbers using keywords with syntax, sent to the short code 53334
  • In addition to short code access to SMS based services is also available on long code 9478053334 for BSNL mobile customers.

Long Code for customers having other service providers mobile:
  • Customers using other service provider mobile numbers can also avail this SMS facility to by using keywords with Syntax to send it on newly implemented service number 9478053334 in BSNL.
